Since I paint on unstretched canvas - flat on my work table - that is pretty easy for me to accommodate.
I just have to get fatter wood to stretch the painting onto when I am done.
I LOVE THE FAT EDGES!
I drew a 3"-ish edge that in this form, is rather like a border around the painting.
This is actually the bottom of
a different painting.
high gear lately.
I imagine this painting is in a hallway and you are walking down the hall and there you see an individual painting
that is long and thin.
THAT should pique your interest and when you get to the front of the painting...
viola! Another painting!
Then when you pass the painting you can look back and see ANOTHER long tall painting on the other edge.
Bonus, if you are short, and you can see the individual painting on the bottom edge
and likewise if you are tall, you can see the separate painting on the top edge.
