Crazy because there was not a defined pattern.
In the 1880's or so - women made "crazy quilts" out of scraps of fabric. Crazy because there was not a defined pattern. I was thinking of squares and rectangles and got busy with that idea.These were some scrap pieces of canvas. I liked what happened and decided to go "BIG."That was so much fun, I had to do another one!Now.Stand back! I am ready for a New Year of creating!

I did a couple more paintings that to me, resemble mountains in the Southwest. Then I decided to use up some scraps of canvas and just played around: These were so fun to make and they reminded me in an odd way of oriental carpets.
