This is the year that I decided that I will work (really work!) at selling my art.
A friend and I are participating at First Thursday in the Pearl District in the Street Gallery.
Last Thursday was the opening night for the Street Gallery.
It was kinda cold and a little windy. The crowds were slim and then, and then, and THEN - the rains came down!

I am so lucky to have good friends.
One came and helped to set up and the other came and helped tear it down in the wet soggy drippy rain!

No electricity provided for the booths - so coleman kerosene lanterns worked well.
I have two paintings at the Sequoia Gallery in their "Hip to be Square" show for the month of April.
The Pancakes and Booze show had over 700 people attend. Not a big art buying crowd though...
The biggest news so far this month, is that I got into the " I Heart Art - PDX" Speed Mixer-Matcher.
This is like speed dating - but with artists and galleries and shops and curators. There are 40 artists who wil each have 2 minutes to pitch their art to each gallery.
Whoo-Boy! Will that be fun or what?
